WRVS

Women's Royal Voluntary Service - WRVS is one of the largest voluntary organisations in the UK, with some 56,000 men and women of all ages carrying out a variety of volunteering activities throughout England, Scotland and Wales.

The WRVS in conjunction with the youth volunteering charity wish to encourage more young people to volunteer, they are looking to get more young people working with them on several projects across the Nottingham area - please see www.wrvs.org.uk for information on the charity and the types of volunteering available.

You you want further details on volunteering you can sign up on-line, call on 08456014670 or email volunteer@wrvs.org.uk

All 16-25 year olds can obtain the nationally recognised award for their volunteering achievement.

A few hours of volunteering each week, fortnight or month can make a real difference to people's lives and have great benefit for the local community, it can also help to provide young volunteers with skills and experience that can help to enhance your prospects in future life.
