Why Choose apprenticeships
Job area - Some employers prefer apprenticeship qualifications as they give you a mix of qualifications and practical work experience
Type of Learning -Work based,Through experience, Practical
Even though apprenticeships are work based, some include time with a training provider* for technical qualifications so you will still need to study. If you don’t enjoy school don’t let this put you off, as you will probably find that because the course will be linked to things you are doing at work you will find it very different!
When you’ve completed your Advanced Apprenticeship you can continue studying at a higher level e.g. Higher National Certificate (HNC), Foundation Degree or Degree. Your employer will often pay your fees if the qualification is related to your job.
*A training provider is a college or training organisation which privdes work based learning.
